Choice of Search Engines...

I cant figure out the link to the article that highlighted the idea, but it is too good :-)

We have choices when it comes to browsers, music players, et al. But do we have a choice when it comes to search engines. Check this out, Search for JScript.net in Windows Live , Yahoo and Google.

See the results,

JScript.net with Windows Live

JScript.net with Yahoo
JScript.net with Google

Now, do you have a choice ? Think again :-)

Read One night @ the call center

I had reviews about this book that it is not good compared to the first one by the same author Chetan Bhagat. So, I started with this book on a bright Saturday morning, mind you I did not find it boring, infact I found it to be a good book ( may be expectations were low, whatever...)

I loved the characters in that book, each one so different from the other...but each one representing one of the walks of life. But the choice of the author to tell the story from Shyam's point of view was just too good, I mean his foresight is too good. Of all the characters in that book the most I could relate to was Shyam. I think he symbolises the youth of a developing country.
I could instantly strike a chord with the character.

The incidents that happen in that night are so common could happen to anybody, anytime and anywhere..phew. The way the book started I was taken aback a bit, especially with the #29 at the beginning. It was later that I started to realize that it was the important segment of the story. I think the entire moral of that book was : Listen to your inner voice and go do what you want no two ways about it.
All in all a good read, a good weekend spent with the books once again but of different type this time...fiction novels.

If you haven't already read...go read it ...I recommend

Java is Open Source....

Sun open source Java. See Gosling's letter here

I would like to keep my fingers crossed on how it works out for Sun, it could be favorable but could badly backfire also.

Lets wait and watch, All the Best Sun

Horrifying

This blog talks about cruelty on animals and the way they are handled in slaughter houses. The videos are actually horrifying and can be quite disturbing.

So those meat eaters next time you eat meat think how it gets on to your plate.

I am putting this on my links in blog page also
